Siren: genre New Folk: Siren is Caroline Cakebread.  Caroline’s voice, described as being as clear as a Lincolnshire chalk stream from where she now hails, has the ethereal qualities of the eponymous mythical sea creatures and beguiles audiences as effectively as the Sirens captivated the seafarers of old. Her sets of largely self-penned songs are stories of love, loss and the landscapes she has known and sometimes includes covers of classics from her musical heroes such as Sandy Denny and Joni Mitchell.
