Malt Whiskers, consists of Robin 'Brad' Braddow and husband and wife Ray and Pam Thompson.  Tom Lane from BBC Radio Lincolnshire,  600 Whiskies Unplugged and Lincolnshire Day of Folk wrote “Whether performing solo or together these musicians from the Newark area represent everything good about the grass roots of folk music. Highly talented, yet charming and modest, their singing and musicianship is of the highest calibre. You can’t say fairer than that.”  Tina Shirt, organiser of Mansfield Folk Club wrote "This lively trio had us calling for more on their last visit. They just love to play and have a fabulously varied repertoire".  A very welcome recent addition to the band is Brad’s wife, June, on guitar, bass guitar and vocals.
