Ian Mather is a singer / songwriter and folk musician.  He has been playing traditional music in different forms since he was a professional under-age drinker, on fiddle, mandolin, guitar, and various other stringed instruments. He plays in a duo with local violinist Dave Allison who will also be accompanying other local singers on the day, so Ian will be performing some solo sets of his own songs.

 He lives in Belton, just up the road from Epworth and helps run the Epworth Folk and Acoustic Music Club on Monday nights at The Red Lion, Epworth and is also one of the organisers of Doncaster Roots Music concerts.  As well as a musician, he is also a sound engineer and occasional concert compere.

Ian also interferes in the running of Epworth Music Day, looking after the Facebook page and with Dave, runs the teatime concert at The White Bear after the official entertainment has ended.
