McDowell are a husband and wife duo (Gary and Ruth Stout). They both sing and Ruth plays harmonica accompanied by Gary on guitar. Sometimes Ruth plays an old fender bass guitar to add to the mix and Gary ventures into the world of folk fiddle. They only started  up last year having played in bands in the past.
