North Lincolnshire Ukulele Group Have been running since January 2016. We are a very friendly group who are welcoming of everyone whether they are an experienced player, or never picked up an instrument before. We rehearse on a Thursday evening from 4:30 at Sir John Nelthorpe school in Brigg.

Over the past year the group have been doing their best to keep rehearsing.  Although Zoom has its limitations, it has meant that the close-knit group could still meet. Everyone in the group would agree the social aspect of being in NLUG is just as important as the music-making itself. Like many other groups we also took advantage of the technology available to us to create virtual performances a welcome outlet for our musical creativity!

We are delighted that face to face rehearsals will soon be possible once more. We look forward to seeing each other laughing together hearing the harmonies and doing what we love best - performing to our adoring fans! We are happy to give concerts, attend charity events, visit care homes and day centres, perform at village fetes etc. Even better if the cakes are good!
