Phil Friend

Phil Friend is a singer/songwriter currently living in Pickering, North Yorkshire. After moving there from Leeds 11 years ago, he expanded his love of music listening & playing to include song-writing. He plays acoustic guitar and sings. Reflecting his wide-ranging musical tastes, his songs are contemporary with influences in folk, country, blues & elements of jazz. Phil plays his music at acoustic clubs, festivals & other venues mainly around North & East Yorkshire. He performs solo and also with duo Blue Kites - he is also a member of the well-established Ryedale Songwriters’ Circle. 

Tracks from his CD “Gentle Favour” have enjoyed positive airings on the following radio stations:- Radio Scarborough, Vixen101, Black Dog Radio, TD1 Radio, North Highlands Radio, Beverley FM, West Hull FM, Coast & County Radio, Triangle Radio.
We look forward to welcoming Phil to entertain us in the streets of Epworth on June 22nd 2024.
